2.1.3 54th and Lyndale Streetscape NCR Neighborhood Support : Greg SimbeckAs part of the recent reconstruction of Lyndale Avenue, a steering committee of local business and property owners have been working with representatives from the two city council member offices, Public Works department staff, as well as representatives of the area neighborhood organizations to explore various options for the streetscape improvements envisioned in the corridor master plan. Kenny Neighborhood Association, Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association, Tangletown Neighborhood Association, and Windom Community Council are working with the property owners and Public Works to establish a Special Services District (SSD) necessary for maintenance of streetscape elements. Once the SSD is formally established, the neighborhoods will support the process of selecting and installing elements. Implementation began 7/30/2014
